The factors affecting the fading of plastic EVA products, the fading of plastic coloring products and pigments, dyes light resistance, antioxidant, heat resistance, acid and alkali resistance and the characteristics of the used resin. According to the processing conditions and use requirements of plastic products, the required pigments, dyes, surfactants, dispersants, carrier resins and anti-aging additives can be selected after a comprehensive evaluation of the above properties in the production of master batch.
First: plastic EVA products fade four reasons:
1, acid and alkali coloring plastic products fade and colorant chemical resistance (acid and alkali resistance, oxidation resistance and reduction).
Such as molybdenum-chromium red resistance dilute acid, but sensitive to alkali, cadmium yellow acid resistance, these two pigments and phenolic resin on some colorants have a strong reduction effect, seriously affect the heat resistance of colorants, weather resistance and fade.
2, oxidation resistance of some organic pigments in the oxidation of macromolecular degradation or other changes and gradually fade.
This process is one of high temperature oxidation in processing, and the other is the oxidation of strong oxidants (such as chromic acid in chrome yellow). Lake, azo pigment and chrome yellow mixed use, red will gradually fade.
3, the thermal stability of heat resistant pigments refers to the degree of thermal weight loss, discoloration and fading of pigments at processing temperature.
Inorganic pigments are composed of metal oxides and salts, with good thermal stability and high heat resistance. The pigments with organic compounds will change their molecular structure and decompose a little at a certain temperature. Especially PP, PA, PET products, processing temperature above 280℃, in the selection of colorant on the one hand to pay attention to the heat resistance of pigment, on the one hand to consider the heat resistance time of pigment, usually requiring heat resistance time of 4-10rain.
4, light fastness colorant light fastness directly affects the fading of products.
Outdoor products exposed to strong light, the colorant used light fastness (light fastness) grade requirement is an important index, light fastness grade is poor, the product will fade quickly in use. Weatherproof products should be not less than six, the best choice of seven, eight levels, indoor products can be selected four, five levels. The light fastness of the carrier resin also had a great influence on the color change. The molecular structure of the resin irradiated by ultraviolet light changed and faded. The light fastness of colorant and colored plastic products can be improved by adding light stabilizer such as uv absorbent to masterbatch.
Second: EVA materials usually have the following six characteristics
1, water resistance: closed bubble structure, not water absorption, moistureproof, good water resistance.
2, corrosion resistance: sea water, oil, acid, alkali and other chemicals corrosion, antibacterial, non-toxic, tasteless, no pollution.
3, processing: no joint, and easy to hot pressing, cutting, gluing, laminating and other processing.
4, shockproof: resilience and tension resistance is high, high toughness, has good shockproof, buffering performance.
5, heat preservation: heat insulation, heat preservation, cold and low temperature performance is excellent, can be resistant to cold and exposure.
6, sound insulation: closed bubble, sound insulation effect is good.
